Delaney Amendment is second measure passed by House to protect against closure of facility
WASHINGTON – Congressman John K. Delaney successfully introduced an amendment to the 2018 Defense Appropriations Bill (H.R. 3219) Thursday that prohibits any Department of Defense funds from being used to close a biosafety level 4 laboratory, including the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center (NBACC) in Frederick, Maryland.
