WASHINGTON – On Monday, the Senate overwhelmingly advanced a bipartisan continuing resolution to fund the government through February 8 so that negotiations can continue on a long-term budget. As part of the compromise the Senate Majority Leader agreed to bring bipartisan immigration language to the floor for a vote.
