Delaney to Host Climate Action Workshop August 25 in Germantown
Climate change is one of the defining issues of our time, threatening job growth, national security, and the health of our families. Congressman John K. Delaney (MD-6) will host a Climate Action Workshop Tuesday August 25 in Germantown. The event is open to the public.
The workshop will take place at the BlackRock Center for the Arts (12901 Town Commons Dr, Germantown MD) on Tuesday, August 25, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
We are pleased to be joined at the event by some of our nation's leading voices on climate change, including a panel discussion with representatives from:
- The United States Navy
- The Environmental Protection Agency;
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration;
- The Sierra Club;
- The Chesapeake Bay Foundation; and
- The League of Conservation Voters.
Attendees will have the chance to ask panel experts questions on climate change and about strategies for addressing this global crisis.
We hope to see you there.
